The sun came out!

Today, I have nothing to do. So there is not much to write about. It is nice to be able to relax, but honestly I am stir crazy. The weather is wonderful though. It is around 77 degrees and there is a cool sea breeze blowing. I have my window open. The only downside is the road outside is kind of busy and loud.

My room, it is about 9X9. (Total 9X18 including the bathroom/hallway)

I had training from 9am-5pm yesterday. It was great to meet some other ALTs from the area. They came from England, Scotland, Ireland, San Diego, Texas, and other places. Pretty cool! My friend is going to be stationed here, so she will have lots of friends. Me... well... I dunno. We went to lunch at a cool Chinese place, and we were supposed to go out last night but I was too tired. They just finished with their semester, so they wanted to party. I think I am getting used to this bed, because I slept from 7pm to 8am. >.>

Half of my dinner last night, so yummy!

I went to the store after training with Kele. You have to pay for plastic bags here. ;0; Its like a couple yen but still. Next time I will bring my backpack. Buying food, even premade food, from the grocery store is so much more economical than a bento place or konbini. I really want my own place though because I am spending so much on food. Plus I have no where to store it.

My expertly stacked fridge! It contains: 7 yakult (a probiotic drink), a carton of peach juice, a carton of pineapple juice, 2L of milk tea, takoyaki, a donut, macaroni salad, two sausages for the kittens, and sushi.

I am proud of my pro fridge using abilities! The fridge itself is about 1 1/2 ft by 2 ft. So I continually have to shop. ;o;

I kida wish I was living in this city. I can see the ocean from my window! Today I may attempt to walk down to it. I think it is about a mile away, but I have nothing else to do. Yep! I just checked! It is pretty much 1 mile exactly.

My bathroom. I like it better than the Tokyo one.

Man Japanese TV is LOUD! And bright. @_@ I don't understand the need for so much gaudiness. Here's an example.

Most "variety show" sets look like this.

Man, it feels like I am in Carlsbad right now. (o ̄∇ ̄o) It feels so nice. Suzushii~ Sometimes I feel like I am back home. When you first go somewhere new it seems so different, but after a while it doesn't seem different at all. It is kind of strange.

A 180 view from my window.

I have nothing to do until Tuesday because my MC is out of town. That might sound like a good thing, and maybe if I was in Tokyo (because I know Tokyo), but honestly I don't like just sitting around day after day. It will be a good chance to explore, but I'm just bored. XD

A quiz show yesterday, kinda like Family Feud--it was a Harry Potter theme. >.>

At least I will have random Japanese TV to "entertain me".

The host was Dumbledore. >.< (I like how "Dumbledore" is actually a part of the dictionary.)

Well now that I have successfully wasted 45 mins of my time (and 5 min of yours), I will go do something. >.> What that is, I don't know. Maybe a nap? XD HEY! I've been up for 4 hours! :P

My view downwards.

Oh, I saw a couple of Shiba-ken yesterday. I wanted to pet them so badly. @_@ Hopefully I will fine some today! And I am planning to go kitten hunting tonight! (I saw a group of 5 when I was out Wednesday night.) I stole a sausage from breakfast to bait them. >.>

Bai bai!
