I arrived, and I'm alive.
Actually the flight was the easiest part. LAX was empty and Korean Air is awesome. Even accidentally bringing a huge butcher knife didn't deter me! Haha. So a while ago, when I got my transmission oil changed, the mechanics found a knife in my engine or somewhere, and I was gonna ask my dad about it, but I forgot. So the huge knife ended up being scanned because I left it in my computer bag. But everyone was just laughing about it and making jokes. (I think it had to do with me wearing a pink dress and having a pannier on lol) So embarrassing. >.<
Man I'm so bad about this blog thing. I just wanna quit now and go to bed. XD Omg my hand hurts. I had to lug my 50 pound huge bag and my 40 pound carry-on sized one like 5 blocks. I can't really grip well with my left hand, and it is even really weak when I type.
Wow Japanese commercials are so weird. They are always so upbeat and fantasy/random. I have the TV on so I don't feel lonely. And I wanna just get my ears used to Japanese again.
Anywho, Korean Air rocks. I had Bibimbop (a Korean rice dish) for lunch, although I wish I had the Curry. I got confused cause I thought she said "Korean rice dish Bibimbop" and not "Curry Rice dish or Bibimbop." I stayed awake the entire time cause I could not sleep in that dumb plane, even though I was lucky to have no one next to me.
Wow, for being such a strict and serious society, Japan's commercials are really odd.
Speaking of strict, when I was taking the buss from Narita to Tokyo Dome, pretty much EVERY salaryman (business man) was wearing a white business shirt and black pants. Like 98 percent of them! It is kinda odd…
Anywho, I watched Sucker Punch, Adjustment Bureau, Rango and this German Movie. The first was epically awesome, the second kind of ridiculous, and the third was great but I got bored towards the end. And the German one was good, except when the obese star and her tall and lanky Asian friend made love randomly. Yeah, I fast-forwarded. >.> And I was already feeling sick at the time. -_-;;
Tokyo is freaking HOT. After I finally made it to my hotel I was LITTERALLY dripping with sweat. It was disgusting, and I took a cold shower immediately. When they said it was 90 when we were landing my heart sank. :0 I just went out and got dinner, and I was sweaty when I got back too. Gah.
I didn’t feel like going out to eat today, so I walked like 10 blocks to a 7/11. I got yummy cold soba, a salad, a cream puff, and an Asahi. Yeah! Except I didn’t have any dressing for my salad. *flashes back to the packets she saw above the salads* craaaaaap oh well.
I’m tired. I think I’ll go to sleep. Its 5am LA time. I’ve almost been up for 24 hours. (22 ½ now) Its weird, I wasn’t tired tho cause it never got dark. I hope that helps me with any jet lag. My bed is like so not comfy, and my pillow is like full of bean bag beans. But I think I’ll be okay.
Its funny, it doesn’t really feel like I went anywhere. Maybe its cause I have been to Japan before. But honestly, it hasn’t set in yet. I started getting panic attacks on the plane. It got pretty bad. >.< I hope I can come to terms with the length soon.
Oyasumi~

Sounds like an interesting start! Good luck to you. Glad you got there safely. Sucks about the heat, though. Hopefully you could blast the cold air in your hotel without a problem?
Thanks! Yeah I have air conditioning in my hotel, thank goodness! Otherwise I would surely die. @_@
